Monett Missouri | The bulls are Pharo Cattle Co red angus bulls. I like them a lot. I was tired of working for my cows and them not working for me. I changed my genetics and pulled some crutches from them. ie NO grain, less hay, fall calving. Drought this summer forced me to sell all older cows. Now all cows have Pharo genetics. Fence is leaning from too many years of continuous grazing and Bermuda hay field on other side. Rotational grazing paddocks installed fall of 2011. Still some paddocks to build on rented ground. The tasseled corn in creek bottom made 100 bu/ac and upland corn made 65 bu/ac. Not bad for this year. Wheat made the same as corn. :) | |
