Subject: Moving feed long distances via vac system,

Need to redo our feed room on farm as we are limited in space and mixing and milling equipment is undersized for our operation and does not allow for expansion.

My plan is to locate the feed making system at another location on farm in a shed but my problem is now how do I get feed to the bins, we currently use a flex auger system to do the job but the location I want to put the feed mixer at does not allow augers to work, nor do I want to shuttle feed by truck around all day.

SO my question is would it be possible to vac the feed up to 600-800 feet (like they do with corn) at the longest distance without damaging the feed quality. I know in the past, it was alway said that vacs separate the components but have there been possible advancements in vac tech. that prevent this and are economically viable.

TIA
