I'm not much help but, when I installed my 475 Deweze bed on a 92' Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 w/454 gas engine weighed in at right at 6,000 lbs. if I recall. I beefed up springs and added a small toolbox to put electro/hyd. pump in.
Bale bed weight??
