Bonanza, Or | Buy whatever you will have the best parts and service for. I have T-L's and electric machines and they all have their own set of issues. All towers on the T-L are continous movement all the time no matter how fast or slow they are running. From what I read on here about the T-L being crooked I think that is because people have the guidance cables too loose. Oil leaks can be a problem but no more than an electrical ghost that is hard to chase down.
If you are looking at straight pivots there is nothing more simple than a T-L. Make sure the dealer- installer puts a little oil on all tubing fittings as they go together and uses a 1 1/2" endwrench with a cheater welded on the end to get them tight.
Once again it all boils down to the best parts and service. | |
