This is one I drive through daily. It's a rural setting but I don't hear any complaints about it regarding trucks. However, it's only single lanes in all directions although the approaches are doubled up and the circle itself is double lane width. The challenge here is cars trying to pass in the circle because it's the only place to pass for several miles. http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=r7qhsq88mzkz&lvl=18&dir=0&sty=b&form=LMLTCC I think it saves me time compared to the previous lights everyday and it feels safer. It sure beats going through a traffic light at highway speeds hoping the cross traffic stops. I also drive this one. http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=r72sbw88tq8b&lvl=18&dir=0&sty=b&form=LMLTCC The link still shows the previous lights, though. It's next to a highschool and has a major urban road with double lanes going through it. Less truck traffic, but still quite a bit. I don't hear or read about trucks having problems on it. The big challenge here was the pedestrian traffic, but it seems to be working now. I don't drive it during the heavy school traffic to know for sure. The first pedestrian accident was with a city transit bus. Go figure. My bottom line is I wish I could drive through another 6 or 8 everyday, but then I drive a car. I'm tired of sitting at traffic lights with no one crossing the intersection.
