WNW Illinois, Henry Co | I know of a implement dealer that was similar to Brother A and B in that they agreed on a price, but both wanted it, so they flipped a coin, whoever won coin toss bought it from the other at that price. the one partner that was about 70 at the time won toss, bought it then sold it five years later to a multi store outfit. the one that was bought out was son of the original partner who had died, and is now a competing dealer about 20 miles away.
origina partners never spoke to each other while running the dealership for probably 10 years or so. that had to be fun.
