Callao Missouri | I have the SCH on one head and the standard 3" cut on another. The SCH does a far superior job of cutting and you rarely break a guard or section.
My problem with the sch is on a 30' or larger head the drag on the sickle is tremendous and it leads to short belt and wobble box life. You can pull the 3" cut sickle by hand, and the SCH takes a log chain and a Chevy pickup to get it out, a four wheeler would not even budge it the two times I had to pull it this season. Jon | |
