Baldwin City, KS | Hard telling. Not sure just who would be out stealing hay in the first place. If you buy a bale spear for your pickup and everybody knows you don't have a cow herd or a little land, seems like folks might keep a good eye on you to start with. Much as with hunting and trespassing, I'm sure some folks figure farmers are redneck dummies that don't pay much attention to what is going on, so they can just snag a bale and no one will notice. Never mind the fact that farm operations are some pretty expensive and complex one man shows that the average dummy wouldn't be running. Only thing on the thief's side is that fact that we might not have time to mess with them. | |
