Had a set up this summer with the Nelson 800's and you started whichever pivot you wanted to run and it would shut off to the other system. Ours had an electric solenoid that was wired in to the pump circuits for each system and opened according to which pivot started. FWIW on this system the valves were mounted on a T at the well before the pipe went underground and out to the systems.
