We used to discuss stratification here, not so much anymore.

I pull samples at full probe depth now, 8-12 inches. I feel I pretty much understand what the numbers mean after 50 years of sampling. I can pull various depths and tell you what to expect and not be far off.

Even though I spread nutrients broadcast, I don't see an acid roof here either.

I know I struggle to get enough calcium on my ground, let alone the other 16 crop nutrients.
