In 2012 when we planted the beans we use the same variety and in the gps we labeled them variety-140000, variety-160000, and ETC. They were planted with a 20 ft no till grain drill and harvested with a 30 ft grain head. We did only take from the middle of each test as the edges were such that we had from two test in a pass across the field.

As for planting speed I think there is a big difference between a no-till drill and a no-till corn planter. The corn planter being more critical that the speed be kept down to get better seed placement.
