I would rather have the seed boot bolts wear than the seed boot mounting holes. I buy mother deere parts when on sale. I don't like having to change the blades or boots any sooner than I have to. You can shim the depth gage and closing wheels by moving washers. I have about 1 1/2" of slop in my closing wheel arms due to wear and it will still close the slot. My drill is a 1993 model that has around 12,000 acres on it.
