I'm thinking about ordering a new cab and chasis pick-up before the end of the year. I was wondering if I could expense this item out if the purchase is paid for in 2012, but delivery of the truck isn't made untill 2013. Same goes for a new hydra-bed. Does the IRS require posession of the truck to take place in the year it is purchased?
