West Central MN | As somebody else mentioned, as the price difference between ethanol and unleaded narrows it also decreases the amount of E-85 and other blends higher than 10 percent which is used.
I have a two year old Ford pickup with the 6.2 engine which is E-85 capable. I have used nothing but E-85 in this vehicle (when available) up until my last fill up two days ago. The price for e-10 was $3.29 and the price for e-85 was $3.15 At that price difference I just had to fill up with the e-10. Felt very guilty doing it but I just couldn't justify sticking with the e-85.
