SC Kansas | Either would work, If the there both newer body style (07 could be a classic) pick the one you like most. Since the 08' is almost out of warranty anyway I'd ditch the Diesel Particulate Filter and put a EGR blocker plate in then it would be like an LBZ engine (like 06-07 classic). Lots of idling is going to plug up your DPF faster.
Too remove the DPF it would take a $350 exhaust, a tuner (flash style into OBDII port) to shut off lights and regen's used or new, research this, you could go from $150-500. You could even send your ECM to a tuner that use EFI live software then make the changes you want, plug in a drive. EGR blocker plate $15. | |
