Subject: Re: RR refuge corn vs. stacked

West Michigan
Thats what I do. Have seen the RR corn yield better every year since I have been doing side by sides (hundreds of acres every year). Have been 80-90% refuge the last six years. Didn't say this to loud for a while because it was an advantage over others but now there are so many that have taken hook line and sinker that I am worried we will not be able to buy refuge corn soon. This is on rotated ground for the most part. But did have refuge beat a triple on third year corn this year.

It floors me that people just keep paying the money for the traits. Have had some farmers that have said to me that the refuge won a side by side but then the next year they buy all the traits again. It is like they enjoy pissing money away.
