Subject: RE: Hunting leases

SE Indiana
We have leased land for over 10 years. We have had some really good people hunting in this time. The hunters are required to provide proof of insurance nameing us as additional insured. They can get this through BuckMasters and others. Have a signed lease, specify what they can't do (4 wheelers, driving on fields etc.) Take time to show them the land and boundaries, and explain what you expect and won't except. During this time you should get a feel for the kind of people they are and if you want them around, if not tell them you rented it to someone else or that a family member is going to hunt it and its not for lease any longer. Good luck, most of the people around here that will pay to hunt, want to be invited back next year to lease the land agian so they will try to do things right.
