I had Phytogen 499 and 375 this year and was really surprised with the yield we ended up with. They both did good but the 499 yielded better than the 375. I didn't ever really try to figure exact yields between the two as we had to picks some strips out of the 375 fields to accomodate turning and building modules from the 499 fields. Between the two varities we averaged 1100 lbs a ac. Both had really good grades and didn't high mic. The 375 graded better than the 499 but the 499 was still good. For some reason the 499 didn't mature any later than the 375 did this year. We had several high winds that really blowed our crop down bad and a good bit of rain after the crop was mature that had to take away from yield. I really don't understand how we got the good grades we did.
