Just thinking this morning as I plan my day: teach excercise class, go winterize the cabin, paint trim in spare bedroom, split and stack firewood, make a fire ring in the side yard.....I don't think I know how to have fun anymore!! Anyone else seem to have the same problem?
I suspect that a key to lasting fun is to be doing something for/with someone else that they truely appreciate. This can be for/with loved ones, friends and acquaintances, or total strangers.
It is often difficult to know what others will truely appreciate, so "knowing how to have fun" involves knowing your talents and abilities, and, more importantly, the needs of others; and doing what your abililities allow you to do for/with them.
Do you know how to have fun?
