West Michigan
IMHO it is not worth the money. I ran the 20/20 for a year on a free trial program along side a deere monitor. Thought it was a good monitor but was not worth the money. Did a few down pressure strip trials and some others and did not see any advantage. I could see if you had someone in the planter that had done very few acres it may be worth it. Or if you dont have a good monitor in the tractor already. The 2630 is about the same money and can use it for the combine, tractors, sidedress, autosteer ect. ect. ect. The 20/20 is only good for the planter (so far). If you have planted a ton of acres in my mind it is pretty easy to know how fast to drive (ride quality) and how much down pressure to run. I think the PP guys are playing up things like down pressure to be way more than what they really are. If you are out in a field when you should be + or - 100lbs down pressure is not going to make a change in yield.
