Subject: RE: Krause gladiator

South-central Nebraska
I do not own one but there have been a number of them used in our area. Most guys around here in medium soils are running 12 rows 6"deep in the fall applying NH3 and sometimes dry fert as well. Most being pulled with 8530 sized MFWD's with duals all around. It's a load. Haven't seen much use of them in the spring as the berm doesn't have time to settle or stays too dry at times. There have been a few guys try strip till with the Gladiator, One Tripr, Strip Cat etc and sell them a couple years later for various reasons. I think they are a good machine but I have some ground where a deep strip till unit would not be ideal, hills with tough clay.
