SW IL
If your ripper is making a wave across the entire profile of the ripper then you are raising the dirt and removing compaction. yes you may be getting more lift directly next to the leg. yes drier soil does fracture better then wet soil. This is the first year we have been able to rip all the ground going into corn next year. Anxious to see the results. We have had good results in previous years removing compaction.
