Panhandle of Ne.
I believe there is still a carryover drought premium from this year in the market. I've heard it said many times that the bears have Thanksgiving and the bulls have Christmas. If thats the case, we went into Thanksgiving looking pretty good on the markets and only higher from here? I also believe if the long range forecasts are correct with limited winter moisture and we are still dry in the March time frame, look out. Seems the eastern wheat belt is getting some moisture while the western wheatbelt is warm/dry/windy, not a good combination. Somebody from the sw Ne./nw KS area mentioned on here the other day that he still didn't have a good stand of wheat and a lot of it had sprouted, dried up and died.
