Subject: RE: If my cfx 750 will run the raven boom height system

Southern Illinois

You can but you will not be using the armrest switches. You will be using an add on switchbox. Everything will run through Trimble electronics not the factory Raven made electronics. It will require some Trimble wiring harnesses and disconnecting of the factory control  components. Raven autoboom will not work without buying an external control box.

The CFX750 will run the sprayer and a Nav2 controller. They do not have a boom height controller out. You will not be able to recalibrate the 120ft autofold as it needs a Raven CAN controller or Pro600/700 to do a fold calibration.

Given what your looking at you might be just as far ahead to get a ViperPro and a Smartrax 3D. The newer Viper software creates universal file types. You can enter all of the same information in it that you can on other systems. The Smartrax 3D will cost a bit less than a Nav2 from CaseIH. Can't say as the Trimble version cost. You can get a Raven WAAS reciever for around $1500 new.
