Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | The last few pounds are really tough to lose. Do we get complacent after losing for awhile and maybe let up a little? Or does our bodies compensate and the metabolism cuts back which means we have to eat less yet and exercise more.
The first 20 lbs. came off fairly easy for me but the last 10 that I have to go have been a real struggle.
Weathter has been good so I've been out walking 2-3 miles per day. Never did more than a mile a day before but just maintained my weight for the week after eating out at a couple of too good of resturants earlier in the week. I think it is helping. Hopefuly have a better week next week. |
