I wondered about the re-rubbered ones too. Hope someone chimes in. About Your cracked ones---I wouldn't fix them. It will only be temporary. When they get welded on they shrink and move so they will crack again. No matter what they tell You, it will happen. It happened to the un re-welded ones. Do they have re-rubbered ones at D and S ? How much? How much are the small bogies?
I didn't get into the conversation that deep. I got an indication that they might get ALL the ones from salvage yards, cracked or not cracked. I'd really feel more comfortable(except lighter in the pocket).....d:>( .....with brand new ones. Just wished it wouldn't happen.
Anyone know of a JD dealer within reasonable driving distance of central Kansas that might give a guy a "volume discount" on 5 new ones? |
