Southwestern, MS | We have been using yield monitors on our cotton pickers for several years. We first started with micro track on 9965 and are currently using both Ag Leader PF 3000 and JD Harvest Doc cotton running on 2600s in 9986s and 9996s. We have had no problems with either systems, but will probably in the future, begin to use the JD system because of the simplicity of use with other JD systems. We like the options of using the 2600s all year long, from VRT planting and fertilizing in the spring, spraying with swath control pro in the summer, to harvesting grains and cotton in the fall. We have used the PF 3000s to VRT fertilizer, but find it slower in operation than the JD 2600s. We decided to upgrade to the 2600 instead of the new Ag Leader Insight.
