Edgar, NE.
We built 2 sets of doors using 1 3/4 square tube as the frame, they were replacing 2x4 doors, so the 1 3/4 tube was the same size. We sheeted them with tin and used the old track and rollers. I don't think the iron frames weighed much more than the wood, and should last a lot longer.
