Had a 820 with pipe reel and worked great, was much better than the wood bats. Did not wrap for me at all. Plastic teeth also much better. I went to older 1020 that has the metal type bat with plastic teeth and was sure it would wrap, but doesn't. I would get the pipe reel, you will be very happy.
