I use MS Office at work because it is given to me. I have LibreOffice and MSOffice on this machine at home. The one thing that I hate about Excel v 10 is that you cannot get two spreadsheets running separately by clicking on files in Explorer or on the desktop. It is funny that Word will create different Word windows so that I can compare two different files at the same time. With Excel, the files start in one Excel. LibreOffice will start separate windows with the click on each file.
I like LO because it is more like Office 2003 or 2007 and it is FREE. For simple spreadsheets, LO works very well. LO imports everything from an .xlxs except for macros with VBA. They have to be converted to Libre basic macro language | |
