One of the better uses for them. While I was receiving treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Hosp in Houston, we would solicit donations for all the wigs that women were no longer wearing and donate them to the Hosp. These were cleaned and presented to the patients that had lost their hair during their treatments. While we no longer go to the Houston Clinic, we now carry books and magazines to the VA Hosp in Big Spring. |
