NC Iowa
Planted at 32,500.

We have planted 60-01 for a couple years and it's always been standing good at harvest, it's vikings #1 conventional and is sold out early every year. It's a 101 day. It's shorter in height for a conventional (most get very tall) so that definitely helps.. This was 3rd year COC, insecticides had been used every year so there was very little rootworm pressure compared to some other fields. The only corn that was lodged was Pioneer 9917. Everything else was standing perfect.
If you walked through the plot, and didn't look at any of the signs, there would be no way to tell which company or traits the corn had. The only corn that really stood out in the combine was the P0210, the leaves were all intact yet and were very green.
In another field we had multiple side by sides and showed a 8 bushel improvement using insecticide on the Viking 60-01 on rotated ground. You would never know it by looking at it, everything was still standing great but obviously there was a hidden hunger.
