Manitoba | we use large wire for peas and flowers, and used a set of round bar for corn, we tried corn with large wire and were cracking too much. never thought about using round bar for peas and flowers, would make for one less set of concaves to own, those things aren't cheap. can you use filler strips with the round bar? on the large wire they fit in between the flat iron that divides each concave into three parts, round bar doesn't have that so not sure how well they'd stay in place if you needed them when trying to do flowers or peas with round bar. | |
