Dave alot of times when I have the same problem I cut the old hose off the fittings and put on new "fuel injection hose" from NAPA. Cut the hose at an angle so if you hit the barb it will not mark it up in a straight line. All bajo fittings I have done on Deutz have a barb fitting under the hose. John
