I appreciate what you are saying Gary but I am not likely to build two of these. I do like guard rail and it would provide stiffness for keeping the poles vertical in a wind. Having guard rail on the outside of the poles also protects the poles compared to something on the inside. What height/spacing should the guard rail be at so they can reach in as far as needed yet I don't get calves climbing inside? Thanks again.
