Depends on usage, most of my .22 RF's are sighted in a 25 yards as they often get used for training. The few that get used for hunting, and just about everything else is zero'd for 100 yards. Most charts, calculators, and scopes are set up to start with 100 yard zero. Some of the longer range rifles are zero'd for 600 yards.
