Subject: RE: NH3 Rate Controllers

South Central Illinois

I have a Hiniker now. It is 15 years old

It worked perfect the first 14 years. This spring it started to malfunction.

I think it needs a new flow meter. It is possible that the problem is the servo valve.

At the start of the season it displayed low flow when it was applying product. Then it worked ok until late in the season.

I have been told the Ravens are a better unit.

I am thinking maybe I should just replace the entire controler system.

Next year I may switch it to a tractor with a Trimble 750 auto steer.
