EC North Dakota | 22" is the best compromise. Gives you the best of both worlds... higher yields from narrower rows.....better air movement from wider rows....less machinery investment than 15 inch..........rows close sooner for weed control....but not too soon....better spacing and depth control from a good planter instead of an air spreader.....only reason to stay with 15 or 30 is because you don't want to spend the money to change to 22". | |
