Considered as farming "on the edge of the desert." course the stuff west of 81 was farming "in the desert," thus generally "next year" country. Whole deal most everywhere has perhaps enjoyed a long term wetter cycle the past 10 to 20 years, as compared to h2o back 35 to 45 years previous. gonna be interesting. only God knows.
