Subject: RE: losing ground over your line of equip?

North Central Kansas
A friend of mine built a new house years ago. The day after he signed the contract and gave the carpenter the earnest money he showed up with a brand new tricked out 4x4 pickup. Friend thought it was kind of odd that he had went out and bought this new pickup. He later figured out that his carpenter wasn't a very good money manager. They went way over budget. Carpenter kept telling him he needed to go get more money. He couldn't understand that there was no more money to get.

Around here it is a little of both. Some want the biggest and best and others think they are getting ripped off by the tenant if they have new equipment. To each his own. I don't run new but I run newer than others. If the crops need planted or harvest and nothing will run you have a problem.
