southern MN | Was spraying one side of my farm, came down the field road to the road, had to wait for traffic and a hitch hiker was walking by. Small county blacktop, not many hikers along here! I was on an open Ford 5000. Said hi, I can offer a ride about 3/4 mile down the road is all! He said sounds good, beats walking it, so I gave a ride to a hitch-hiker on my open tractor for 3/4 mile.
He said he just got let out of jail, and was heading back up to the Cities. Had a nice conversation. I figured he must not be interested in a high speed getaway....
I went to the far side of my farm to drop him off, rather than turning in the driveway like I had first planned..... Kept him moving on past that way. ;)
