S.C. Wisconsin
The CEO of Deans was boasting about huge profits they made in 2009, dairy farmers were bleeding to death and he seemed to assume that milk prices would always stay in the tank so they could have record profits again. When milk prices came up and consumers figured out they were getting bilked the CEO's screamed like a stuck hog. I couldn't believe that anyone who is a CEO could be that ignorant. It would be like having a group of employee's and keeping half of their paycheck and complain when they don't show up t work. The whole milk pricing system is a scam. The CME cheese price determines our class 3 price. Last week there was one trade and the week before there was no more than 2 trades. I don't like to sound like a broken record but cheese buyer are avoiding the CME at all cost as to not rock the boat. I might be stupid but not that stupid to smell a rat!
