If you wish to view it in that context, then note the DOW traded to 6470 - scarcely two months after President Obama's inauguration. This week  ~13660. If you can credit him for this week's weakness, then can you say "he built the rest of that"?

There's probably more to the story or some missing data. You know about the DOW and October, right? :-)
