Watonwan County MN | With what you're trying to do, I'd just get a horizontal mixer, either auger or reel. If reel is your choice, make sure it has the hay kit. Not perfect, but you probably won't have to tubgrind. I bought a Roto-Mix 354 this past spring and am pretty happy with it. Paid 4k for it and put about $400 in parts in. I'd like a vertical but they're expensive and slower than either of the others. Works well for us with our operation. Has a little heavier tub than Knight. Roto-Mix and Knight are built off the same patent. Ask Bud at Post Equipment in Rock Valley to give you the full story on that one. | |
