North Texas Panhandle Dumas Texas | I charge $70 per field one sample, normally 12 cores 10" deep, delivered to the lab and I compile sample data on all fields in a report for that grower and show an average on his fields and an average of all fields that I sample in that area for that year and the previous year so that the grower can compare any field of his own to the average of fields in the area and look at different years to establish trendlines in his fields and area fields. I also give recommendations based on how he applies his fertilizer or even may recommend a different application system. I'm also equipped to do grid sampling and deep sampling, but that runs into more money. I normally only do one sample per field unless grower has defined different areas in a field and is able to fertize accordingly. I see no use for more than one sample per field unless grower can change rates or product within that field |
