...If you've ever noticed...when you shell corn with wet ear shanks, the ears will come off the stalk a lot harder. That sometimes will cause excessive header shelling. I can actually see it when I look down on a header, the corn shucks will pull through the stripper plates...and leave bare ears coming up the chains. But for 10 acres..and the situation you describe??...Git 'er done!!!
