Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I like it so far. I can't be at the computer every minute anyway, so the market can change a lot while I am not tuned in. I don't use futures a lot, but I am the type when I get ready to sell I just put in a limit order and go on about my business. Trading platforms are sophisticated enough you can set them up to put in orders when things are triggered. So if the market makes a big move in the night you can still be prepared.
The only thing I don't like is the USDA reports coming out while the market is open. I think that will absolutely have to change as computer technology gets faster. Pretty soon we can have super computers read the report and put in orders within seconds getting ahead of the market. I don't know why they can't suspend trading for an hour while the reports are released. OR release them in the afternoon during the break. |
