Gavin, I don't know much about the bullet rotor vs regular, but there were other changes that came about in 2006. Bigger motor, different air intake for radiator, battery location, cab roof, lights, and availability of the "high unload rate" auger. I just bought an 06 9660 and it has almost all the options, but the HUR auger. Man it unloads slow! Craig
