North End I-15 | Wife has worn hers for 51 years . She did loose a small stone once , has jeweler check settings biannually .
Has had to rebuild prongs and have the engagement ring welded to the wedding band .Also had to rebuild the
bottom of ring several times . Wore it thin with a scoop shovel handle and garden hoe . ;-)
Have spent more money over the years on maintainence than what I paid for it in 1960 .
She loved it then and behold she still loves me ! :-)
We have no insurance on ring .
Edit: Guess it has paid better than the 5 acres of land it would have bought back then .
