Mark I agree with your post on providing the customer what they want except with the EU I have never been able to believe they have a true issue with GMO crops, hormone supplemented beef. etc. IT appears to me the EU cost to produce a # of meat, milk, grain etc and they want to keep farmers on the farm and have to maintain the higher prices. I love farm fresh eggs myself and would pay more for them, but if I needed a million dozen eggs I would most likely buy the cage rasied eggs.
